Indianapolis Metropolitan Police officers were dispatched to the 5200 block of Georgetown Road on reports of a person shot.
Indianapolis firefighters were dispatched to a fire in the 1700 block of West Minnesota Street at 1:23 p.m. Saturday. Upon arrival, they learned a 92-year-old woman had just been pulled from the home by two good Samaritans.

Horizon House depends on volunteers and donors to stock warm clothes for local homeless folks through events like Saturday’s drive-thru donation event.
